Home Health Aide Training

Moriarty Institute

In connection with Mosby's Home Health Aide textbook, this course, along with other trainings and clinicals, was constructed to prepare their personnel for certification as a Home Health Aide.

Built on PeopleLearn's development platform, this custom-designed program is delivered online and tracked and monitored using Peoplelearn's proprietary tool, PLQuizdom, a learning management system designed with small company needs in mind.

Some of the features in this program include a Table of Contents, access to Resources including white papers, websites, and PDF documents, a searchable Glossary and more. The whole program creates a blended learning solution for facilitators and one-on-one learning demonstrating procedures in the field.

Exercises for the Early Childhood Classroom in Health and Safety

Interactive exercise to determine which children are too ill to be in school and should be sent home.

Which of these children are too ill to be in school?

Based on the children's random audio responses and symptoms described in the text box as the student clicked on each of the children's faces, the learner's challenge was to determine which of these five children were ill and which should be sent home or kept. When they checked the box next to the child who appeared to be too ill to be in school, text-based feedback verified the child's wellness status.

Audio was recorded by child actors.
